About This Game Build freight trains and follow passengers on scenic journeys, all through a range of real-world inspired locations from the south island of New Zealand.Choose between driving trains through the world of this pre-built table top model railway or combine your own pieces of track and scenery to build your own railway! The entire railway fits within one large workroom, with tons of surrounding free bench space for you to experiment with your own custom creations.Features:Play on both PC (without VR) and in VR (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality)Build and share your custom layouts on the Steam workshopShare and download custom train paint-schemes on the Steam workshopOperate model railways in human-scaleExplore anywhere on foot in miniature scaleDrive trains in large scale with hand-held controllers Drive trains in miniature from within the cabDrive multiple trains at once by using multiple controllers Push wagons along the tracks with your hands in VRPickup and throw wagons as physics objectsPlace your own custom track and build your own layoutsFreely place scenery and buildings for your custom layouts Backup or share your custom track saves in plain textSandbox style world, where custom tracks and scenery can be built anywhereUse model railway style switch-boards to direct your trains Dynamic day/night cycle Dynamic weather Play in VR or on PCRolling Line has been built from the beginning to be both a PC game (first person style) and a VR game. You can play with a keyboard a mouse just like any PC game or train sim, but if you have a VR headset (Oculus, Vive and WMR) connected then it will automatically launch in VR. Just like a model railwayThis railway is designed to look, feel and operate like a real hobbyists model railroad, with stylized switch boards to control the tracks, portable hand-held controllers to drive trains, and complete control over the rooms lighting.Freely push wagons around on the rails with your hands to build up trains as long as you could possibly want, and take control of any number of different locomotives (using multiple controllers).Build your own tracks and sceneryPlace pieces of track and scenery to build your own huge (or tiny) railways! Almost every tree and building from the pre-made layout can also be used in your own creations.Paint different colors and styles onto terrain, trees and tracks and place chunks of terrain to build hills and path ways. You can build your custom layouts entirely by hand in VR, or play on PC to make use of PC-only map making shortcuts. You can share your layouts on the Steam workshop and easily download other peoples layouts. All layouts you make can be easily backed up and shared in plain text, which means you can copy-paste an entire save game between friends! Explore in human scale or miniatureSwitch between human-sized room scale and railway-sized miniature scale at any time, any where. You are not limited to only driving trains in miniature, but can fully explore the entire railway at the scale of a person. Drive trains from right inside the cab in miniature, and view the world from the driver's perspective! While in miniature scale you will experience dynamic time, weather and unique terrain and skyboxes that extend beyond the shape of the railway,Choices of locomotionChoose between a range of locomotion options, including standard teleporting, grabbing the world around you to move yourself around, free directional movement with the trackpad and any other locomotion options suggested by the community that can be added!Other options like manual rotation (if you cannot use room scale) and setting your player height help support a range of VR setups.Rolling line offers an immersive experience of both controlling a model railroad and driving trains from within the world itself. Whether you enjoy the diverse scenery of New Zealand, the joy of controlling model trains, the experience of a scenic railway journey or the freedom of building your own tracks and creations, then Rolling Line can deliver. 1075eedd30 Title: Rolling LineGenre: Casual, Indie, SimulationDeveloper:Gaugepunk GamesPublisher:Gaugepunk GamesRelease Date: 27 Apr, 2018 Rolling Line Download Code rolling line mod trains. rolling line crack. rolling line kft. rolling line steam key. rolling line workshop. rolling florida georgia line. rolling line magazine. rolling line controls. rolling loud lineup 2016. rolling loud lineup 2016. rolling line roads. cold rolling line machine. rolling line pc. rolling loud lineup. revolving line of credit promissory note. rolling loud sydney full line up. rolling line frantic matty. hot rolling line. wire rolling line. rolling line kft szigethalom. tube rolling line magnetic 518. line rolling pin. rolling loud los angeles lineup. rolling on down the line bob seger. rolling pin line art. rolling line steam key. rolling line video game. rolling line all trains. hot rolling line. rolling stone festival lineup. rolling loud australia lineup. rolling stones 1968 lineup. rolling stones lineup. rolling line game tutorial. rolling line without vr. rolling line free download Finally a game that runs on a potato VR or not. My friend loves to watch me play this game in vr and on desktop. would highly recomend Huge optimizations for big custom maps! + new editing system - v1.132: This update has been in the works for a while, and completely changes how maps are loaded, viewed, saved and edited.Large maps like the famous Nevada, Arizona and Utah use to take 5 minutes+ to load, now you can load it in a matter of seconds!Parts of the map are now loaded in as-needed, which means you can load up a huge map just as fast as any normal map. View distance optimizations have also been added, so all custom maps should now run much, much smoother! You can change how these new optimizations behave in the "Graphics -> custom track" menu.Saving is also now infinitely faster! In fact you can save in a matter of seconds even on the largest maps. Along with these optimizations there is also now an entirely new editing system.. Custom liveries for the Big Boy, new terrain, props and more! - v1.071: Today's update adds a bunch of small features and fixes along with some new props and liveries! Most of all you can now make custom liveries for the Big Boy, its tender, and the coal wagon. There are also some new terrain pieces and props. The new props are:Station platform (without the building).Various pipes and railings as their own props.A new type of fence.Several more basic shapes like a pyramid, sphere, vertical walls and cylinders.A new (ish) wagon! there is now an empty version of the crane machinery wagon.A darker brown painter has also been added.embankment terrain pieces have also been added. These are pieces of terrain with a flat top that are designed to be placed underneath elevated track to help smoothly line up track with terrain.Remember to place this terrain on elevated track! it will be hidden under the table if you try and use it like normal terrain (though you can still change the height like all objects)Here are also examples of all the new liveries:Please note that the Big Boy livery is simplified, since the Big Boy is much more complex (and larger) than the smaller steam engine and it would be a complete mess to texture every inch of it.Here is the full list of features and fixes also included:You can now adjust prop height (as well as scale) in VR with a new setting in the custom track menu. You must choose between up/down buttons changing scale or height (not both at the same time)Added bottoms to some terrain pieces that use to be invisible from below.Fixed issue with track flicking between up/down angles when changing the gradientFixed the odd prop rotation glitch again (where props would sometimes be spun randomly after placing)Fixed a big memory management issue with custom liveries (where refreshing the "edit/add livery" menu would soak up tons of RAM)Fixed the set of track editing buttons that was misplaced under the tableRemoved "smooth scaling" setting and tweaked scaling values. remember you can use the scroll wheel to scale props in snappy increments, but you can also use PageUp/PageDown to smoothly change scale. Now that all the liveries are done I'll be putting lots of focus into custom table building (but i've also got a fun little "themed" update idea in the works!)Enjoy!. New steam effects! - v1.165: Today's update adds a bunch of improvements to Rolling Lines steam engines, including better in-cab details and new particle effects! All steam trains now have new 3D steam particles and various new effects (like steam being released from the cylinders when starting and stopping the engine). There are also now a few un-marked valves you can twist in each steam engines cab, these valves can be used to manually enable/disable each particle effect, which is excellent for screenshots! This update also includes a few fixes & features: You can now place controllers/edit tools back into their holders on the wall on PC, simply hold the trigger and point at the wall-mount to place it back Added more detail to the cab interiors of all steam engines Fixed mesh normals on one of the Santa Fe bridges Fixed collision on bridge track pieces I've finally got a considerable amount of time to focus on work, without any traveling or interruptions, so there should be some pretty great updates coming in the near future!Enjoy! Also, here are a few more pictures of the new steam effects in action:And the new cab interior details:. Placeable shelves, controllers, etc & divider walls - v1.12: After so much time spent on the magazine, this update instead brings some great new features to your custom tables! You can now place, clone and move around:prop containerscontroller spawns magazine racksrubbish bins All of this is now stored in your save file, so gone are the days of dragging your containers of props all around the room! You can edit all of this by toggling the "edit room" button (previously called "edit table")Divider walls have also been added! These walls snap to tables and work great for adding backdrops & segmenting your layouts. There is also a paintable variant of backdrop for other color schemes & walls. There are a also a few other features and fixes in this update:there is now a setting that sets whether controllers automatically snap back to their holder when dropped. added coffee mug to new game saves + updated the custom table example save to include these new features. transparency is now saved for the old custom tables (this wasn't stored in the save before).the context-sensitive help message now changes to show how painters work + explains shift-painting.removed some value rounding in save files that meant very small details would sometimes be miss-aligned when re-loading a save.added missing shadows back to magazine racks. fixed tutorial text being hidden when in miniature on PC.The next update is going to be an exciting one!Expect a new (and very unusual) map, as well as a snapping system for shapes!. April fools! - v1.0: Today's update is a pretty special one. Anyone who's been here since Rolling Line's release will remember the absolute state of the game back then, and how different it was compared to now.Well guess what! For April fools ive managed to get a 1.0 version of Rolling Line working! You're current save files can't be loaded on this 1.0 version, but after April fools the game will completely go back to normal, and you will be able to play your old save files. Any maps you make using this "classic" version of Rolling Line are stored in a separate folder.v 1.0 has: no liveries no workshop supportno tunnels no prop scaling no height scaling no paintable treesno paintable terrainno track gradientsno custom tablesNO FLEXYTRACKthe old editing system200% more train merging bugs500% more train movement jittering only 4 locomotives no signals (fake or real)no animated steam engine wheelsno moddingand missing countless other features that have been added in a years worth of updates. Since Rolling Line was released in April last year, this update can also be thought of as a celebration of just how much the game has changed since it first came out, and how many updates have happened since then!Ah, and enjoy only having the original 17 drawers:Remember you can use the "copy save to clipboard" option in the saves menu to share your save in plain-text (this is how we shared save files before workshop support). You can post a link in the comments to a site like PasteBin https://pastebin.com/ if you would like to share your classic saves with others, and I will be posting a showcase of some of the best maps made using this 1.0 version after April fools! Enjoy! Also, you can now switch to a branch on steam called "classic" to play the 1.0 version whenever you want:. Categorized drawers! v2.2: Today's update adds something that Rolling Line has desperately needed since day one, properly organized drawers! All the drawers have now been grouped into categories (like trains, track, buildings etc) and completely re-organized.Props are now actually grouped together, like all the signals are now in one drawer, all the paints are now together, all the roadside props (road signs, traffic lights, etc) are in one drawer, and pretty much everything else has been better organized. Simply click the category icon to set the overall category:Then click the number to choose individual drawers, or use the arrows to cycle through all the drawers in the current category:This new system might take some getting use to, but it SO much easier than the mess that it was before.Enjoy!. Multi-painting! - v 1.171: Today's update adds the ability to paint multiple colors onto props in Rolling Line, and adds paintability to HEAPS of old props. This means props can now have more than one color slot!Lots of modern props have now been updated to have more than one color slot (like the Santa Fe and Puzzling World props), and all of the old buildings have been updated to use the color painting system! To use multi-painting (on props that support it) press 'E' (or the right-direction option in VR) and a pop-up menu will show up where you can paint each color slot on the prop:here is a full view of the props that have been updated to be paintable:There are also a few new props (and separated pieces of older props) included in this update: new snappable props for small concrete wallsnew snappable props for wooden post wallsadded snapping to the chain-link fence propadded snapping to the station platform prop separated the kaikoura station into two props, its platform and buildingseparated the hotel building into two props, the main building and the long flat buildingnew small railway shed propnew cafe buildingthe shipping container is now paintable too! And one other feature, an automatic save backup system has also been added!Every time you save a map, a backup is made (up to 10 backups per layout) and you can find these backups in the "manage saves -> backups" menu. This update makes so many more colors and designs possible for props in your layouts, and finally makes good use of all of the old props from back when Rolling Line was released. Enjoy!. BANNERMEN The Red Solstice 2: Survivors Teaser unleashed!: https://youtu.be/E4g3hJ2-nrADear people of The Red Solstice, after months of hard work, shaping The Red Solstice 2 into a game we are all proud of, we are very excited to present you a little slice of what we have acomplished so far. Moments ago we have uploaded our first teaser trailer for the game. It should give you a bit of the feeling we are going for. We hope you like it.Here are also some screenshots of the systems that are being worked on:Armory is of course where you customize your marine's equipment and weapons before sending him into action. This time arround you'll have much broader scope of customization options. You'll be able to pick different firing modes for your weapons, choose to pick more passive abilities at the expense of some active skills, pick one very powerful system instead of few weaker ones, or perhaps just leave more room for ammo, explosives and other items. You'll probably die anyway, but at least you can give some monster a bit of indigestion with the right setup. Strategy layer is a new feature in The Red Solstice 2. It allows you to choose your missions and play in a more campaign like way, capturing and loosing teritory, securing resources, and joining up with your friends in order to crack those hard missions. You are fighting for entire planet now.We are starting to do regular mini updates on our progress on Facebook, so if you want to be updated regularly, join us at: https://www.facebook.com/TheRedSolstice/ or come chat with us at discord: https://discord.gg/Fd7x7usJoin us and give us your feedback and suggestions so we can shape this game into a masterpiece.Ironward. F7 & streamliner liveries - v1.154: Custom liveries for all of the new trains added in the Santa Fe update are now available! This includes the F7, F7 B unit, and all 4 streamline passenger cars. You can already find a ton of liveries people have made on the Steam Workshop! This update also includes a few small features and fixes:Snapping added to a range of props, like the hedges & fences from the Santa Fe update, as well as several older metal fences already in the gameThe height-cap on PC has been removed, so you can go as high as you want using the scroll-wheelFixed issue with the "pause time" menu button option not working properlyFixed issue with selecting high up props to editThere is also another little something I'm working on, which is a "quickMod" system, which lets you add your own trains into the game (with custom 3D models). This system is very much in-development at the moment, but people are already making tons of amazing mods over at RollingLineModding.com![rollinglinemodding.com]The next update will hopefully be something special for Christmas, followed by some brand new NZR (New Zealand Rail) content in January!Enjoy!.
